Notes - Both Stirnet and LDS list this Isabella c. 04.05.1740 as being the daughter of James Campbell, merchant, and Mary Murdoch. Mary Murdoch c. 03.10.1710 was daughter of Zacharias Murdoch and Elisabeth Roger who were married 25.04.1705. Elisabeth was daughter of Lord Provost Robert Roger. Zacharias Murdoch was brother to Lord Provost Peter Murdoch (ID 9603) both being sons of Patrick Murdoch (1627-1681) and Margaret Gemmill (b. 1630). Little Peter and Isabella were second cousins sharing the same great-grandfather. [2]
